RING MIAN UNIT

A Ring Main Unit (RMU) is a factory-assembled, metal-enclosed switchgear system designed for use at load connection points within a ring-type distribution network. It integrates two switches for connecting both sides of the load to the main conductors, along with a fusible switch or circuit breaker that branches off to supply a distribution transformer—converting medium voltage (MV) to low voltage (LV). Rated up to 17.5 kV and 630 A, Short-Circuit Rating 21 kA for 2 seconds, Rated Short-Circuit Making Capacity 40 kA, Impulse Withstand Voltage 95 kV (peak)
